The paper describes a system for Internet access to bibliographic databases that are maintained by the CDS/ISIS 3.07 information retrieval system. For this purpose, the latest Internet technologies are used, namely:
Commection by the library's server mounted through NFS;
Use of WWW.
The system includes a mini-server of databases, a slient's module in the orm of a GCI script of the HTTP server, and a set of HTML documents and anxuliary modules for the ser interface. The application of a specialized transferred mini-server makes this system independent of specific hardware and operating systems, in whose environments CDS/ISIS databases are maintained. The only condition neessary is a system support of TCP/IP.
